Aged cheese is a migraine or headache trigger – avoid it. For some people, caffeine can be a trigger. Processes foods have food additives including nitrites, nitrates and MSG ( Monosodium glutamate). Chocolate, red wine, ice cream – and sometimes, unexpected things like egg whites, avocado and corn can also trigger migraine.

As a rule of thumb, just monitor and keep a track of foods that are causing headaches and avoid them instantly. You should remember that every individual is unique and therefore – migraine trigger is specific for an individual rather than being common for all.
